Maxima Clam Looking Wierd

    Does everyone think that this is his foot popping out of his intake siphon? Has anyone else seen this before?

    Hmm, that does look like it's foot. Have you tried to move the clam recently? Anything that you know of bothering it? Any snails hanging out on it?

    You might ask Amcarrig. She's the clam lady round these parts...

    That looks like the foot. See if there are any tiny snails on the bottom of it.

    The clam is still doing the same thing at times. I am afraid of trying to pick him up to see if there are snails. He might have attached to the sand.

    try taking a turkey baster and gently blowing the sand away from its foot.

    Don't tug on it though unless you know it's not attached.

    do it slowing and gently, if the turkey baster doesnt work
