Time to start my slow 40B project. This build might take six months before my tank even sees water. Neways petco having the dollar a gallon sale. Got myself a 20L for a sump. Will be buying the 40B tomorrow when the truck comes in. Also picked up a compound miter saw for $40 to help with the stand

Just picked up ly 40B. Funny how perception changes. It felt like the 20L was huge. Now it looks tiny lol. Neways here is a boring pic of my empty tanks

Just wait until you decide to upgrade & the 40 seems small. Congrats on the start and dont worry about the time it takes to set up the tank. imo the long the wait the greater the reward and the more prepard youll be when livestock gets added.

I'm sure that saw will be a great addition to your system. Quite hardy IME, but they do need quite a bit of trace element supplementation.

Hahaha! this is the funniest thing I've read in a long time. I was just excited because i got such a great deal on it! I broke it in today and cut a couple of pieces of 2x4. Pretty good for 40 bucks!

yep 40 breeders are one of the best tanks in my experience you have depth width and height that is descent for its size imo
