    Double clutching will tell you right off if it's the tranny or a clutch problem- if it goes in easy when double clutching- the tranny is shot, if there is no difference- then it is clutch related.

    Excalty because double clutching elimantes the need for syncros because it allows the gearset to slow down enough that its rotating the same speed as the drive gears to go in meaning your syncros are shot (thats the little brass likke material in your tranny) ;D

    Good to know will check it out after work, though I'm thinking it's gonna be a clutch issue.
