    Hi guys,bought tank from friend and it came with Marineland reef ready led system,lol 48 1 watt potts and 8 actinic.Has also 2 ho t-5 with ati bulbs.Led unit was still under warranty and 3 lights were not turning on. Called Marineland and after some talking with an outstanding csr they offered a Marineland Pro Series that has 4x54 ho t5 2x 150 mh and 4 actinic led. As long as i pay the return shipping .What do you guys think about what they are offering??

    Its a much better light IMO, but upkeep costs much more. Electric and bulb replacement costs need to be factored in.

    the marineland reef ready led light is a piece of junk, likely you wont be able to keep much under it. The other light is a decent light but as stated before your upkeep costs will be much more replacing bulbs.

    That's awesome!! You'll grow anything with that light. The cost is worth the growth IMO. LED lights can't touch that fixture. Growth is well proven with halide. I'll buy it from you if you don't want it.
