    nope never tried it but I have seen lots of people using them and the double brights on fresh. Obviously no good for saltwater but I'm sure they are fine for fresh :)

    wont grow corals but will light up the tank great!

    lol I had one for my 10 g too but it was the wrong size for my tank (it was the 20 inch one). Great light and nice effect on the tank though.
