    will just regular marine epoxy from Ace Hardware be safe for my reef??? It smells a little funky??? Do you have to use "reef safe" epoxy??:confused:

    If your talking about the epoxy sticks green on the out side and white in the middle. I used some a few weeks ago to glue down some SPS frags. Already they are starting to grow over the epoxy. I got them at ACE I'm not sure if it was the ACE brand I just got the cheapest one.

    did it smell kinda like sulfur when you broke it???yeah its green on the outside and white in the middle. Marine/Plastic Epoxy Putty???

    Yeah, you can use that. Keep in mind it takes forever to set... so you can't use it to like mount something sideways really... it needs to be able to hold itself where you want it until this can set...
