Bring the mag up to 1350-1400 it helps with the alk/ca.

I just did it this week with my aquadoser when I noted my mag was down to 1250.

I'd let it run its course. I've had it that high before with no ill effects. Give it some time to clear itself up.

i will raise Mag tonight. The frustrating thing is, i want to hook up my dosing pumps to start 2 part, but I can't calculate a thing or dose it until the Cal is where I want it.

Sucks, kinda like waiting for your cycle to end all over again.

I would not raise your Mg more than 100ppm per day.

Yup, I have my controller already programmed to where all I need to do is change the on/off intervals depending on dosing needs.

I raise 75ppm max per day when i have to raise mag a lot. I like to play it safe when it comes to things like that.

Just tested my Mag again and now it is 1500. Something is screwy.

The only thing to do is to test back to back, when it comes to testing Mag and Cal. There are so many steps to these that it's best to do this when you are getting strange results. You should invest the $50 for the Hanna Alk checker, especially if you are DOSING 2 PART you will love it, it takes about 30 seconds to get a digital read out.
