    Hey all,

I have a cave area in my tank and I was wondering what I can put in there? The water flow is moderate in this area. Its not that dark in there, I guess you could say its between shaded and heavily shaded. I know that obviously NPS would work but I'm not sure if at this point my tank could handle the amount of feeding required.

    TIA

I know some people don't like them but I have Kenya trees that seem to prefer low light.

There are some chalices that do very well with little light. Even some cyphastrea does well when shaded.

+1 to Chalices and Cyphastreas. I had a few Chalices and a Meteor Shower Cyphastrea that did quite well under lower light.

Yeah I was always nervous about getting them at first, but I decided to try. My tank was 18 inches tall and I had a 2-bulb T5 fixture with two Geisemann Actinic bulbs. The Chalices did fine on the sand bed and the Cyphastrea grew relatively fast about 1/3 of the way up the tank.
