    A friends parents were moving and said come on over and look at the reef stuff if I wanted to. So I went and scored a free iwaki pump, an old pm skimmer with reservoir, pm sump tank and a pc 36" light. I'm so thrilled I got all of this for free.

    One thing though, I would like to do something with the skimmer but it is an older one ran off of an air pump. I have a good skimmer but could possibly see converting to a kalk reactor. Any ideas are appreciated.

    I know there are a bunch of guys out there still using the air stone skimmers. Supposedly, they still work awesome, they are just more maintenance intensive.
