long term 36" led build thread!

I got my LEDs!!!! They look awesome. I just finished hanging them and the tank shimmers now! It is soo cool. The blues are crazy, the tank glows with them at 50%. Right now I'm on 50/40 because I like the blue a little more. I'll be upping it daily until it gets perfect. It's hanging about 8" above and runs pretty cool. The fans help a ton. I'll be posting a vid and some pics some point soon. I recommend these fixtures to anyone!!!

Yep! Shimmer is great! I'm going to make a vid when everything is acclimated. The Acro's polyps are extended like crazy!

So I already bought the 120w dimmable LEDs...

They are only royal blues and whites. I'm still going to DIY a strip so I can get more of the color spectrum.. It will be 24". What diodes should I add and how many of each? I have mostly sps.

 

I just measured, I'll actually only have 16", not 24".

Should I put green in the strip?

 

I would do Violet and Red.

 

No cyan of green? How many should I do? I don't want to go nuts with the red, I've heard that they can't really use It and it really makes the tank look warmer.
