I got an anemone acclimated to my tank and I read on how they need a sand substrate for there foot. I place him in the middle of my tank and tried burying his foot, his foot is out of the sand, where do I place this guy and how do I do it?!?

ok, will it bury its foot on its own? Does it matter that I have the light off for acclimating fish and have no current because I dont want him to float around the tank?

Yes and yes. You need to have the current and lights as it will end up being set, otherwise, if it settles then you turn on the powerheads/lights, it cam change its mind about position and go wandering again.

i just got one my self. i wedge it along a rock and sand ,then used some small rock to block it in. this was 2 days ago. sence then a large tube has knock one of the smaller rocks a way from it and it seems to be doing just fine. You might want to give it a try.

anemones will do whatever, and go where ever they want. You can't control them. You shouldn't try to bury them, and you should mess with them as little as possible. They are difficult to keep and will punish you for screwing with them by killing your tank.
