long black worm thing

    hey guys, sadly i havent got a pic and havent seen this thing since but while staring into my tank i noticed a long possibly 6 inches or more black worm like thign come out of the rock, so all i can do is describe it and hope it sounds familiar, i was long thin and black, at its head in the mouth reason it had to tips and wat looked like a white w on its head does anyone have an idea

    Look for Nemertea (ribbon worms) Sci-fi name of Notospermus tricuspidatus

    I betcha salsalito is correct. The "W" thing sounds just like Notospermus tricuspidatus.
