    Ok I just pulled this out of the sea. (Not in the USA) It's got lots of stuff on it like plants and stuff. Should I scrub it down and remove all the plants?

    Nice piece! That looks like Halimeda to me. Calcareous algae grows in clusters. This marine plant will suck calcium from the tank similar to clams. Don't know if they will pig out on it, but they will intake some calcium in your water. I wouldn't keep it in a reef aquarium. It'll be more competition for stonies and coralline, etc.
