its been a long time in the making and I finally got my tank set up. as i've been building my custom stand and aquiring the necessities (return pump, heater, skimmer...) i have also been collecting peices of rock that i find at lfs's and from local people in an old 55gal tank. my question is, should i add some of the water from my liverock tank to my new tank? or does it even matter?

Personally, I wouldnt... but if you do want to then you would first have to test the water and make sure there is no ammonia, nitrates, or nitrites.
