just don't use the spines as tooth picks.
Its meat almost tastes like grouper.Nice and white. Yummy. At first I had a real problem killing these fish because they are so darn cool but they do alot of damage.
I thought you all were about saving the fishes. lol but your talking about fryin them up im not against it at all if they die owell i dont eat seafood anyways just think its funny
I wonder if people can harvest them for the aquarium trade.
im not sure if you actually clicked on the link or have read up about whats been happening but the lionfish are actually taking over parts of the reefs because of accidental release and dont have any predators so one way to keep them from taking over is well....
Eating invasive species is saving the fishes.
I also want to try iguana. Mostly just because its mentioned in the song mexican radio by wall of voodoo, but it sounds tasty too.
Unfortunately the only invasive species that gets this far north is cuban tree frogs, and those don't seem tasty at all.
Nom. Nom. Nom.
Iguana is very tough, but extremely high in protein. Much more nutrients in that than normal American cuisine.
I like lion fish roasted because it is totally different from other fishes.
