I have a 48" hood with 2 Metal Halides and to VHO fluorescents on a 90 gal reef. Now I bought the hood used so I am looking to replace the bulbs. OMG the price. So I would like to replace the VHO's first. Now I'm not sure what to get. So the question is what VHO's and what HQI do I get?

you should stagger when replacing your bulbs. replace your mh's then change others later. If you have corals it can burn them by exposing them to new lights. It also helps on the pocket book.
