as much as I like the standard clown, especially the maroon one, BZWS2 is definitely gorgeous

Nice looking ones, the more normal looking ones look pretty cool, kinda ragged looking stripe.
Too bad they fought so much as babies, they got tiny fins and pinched heads.

Their navy blue clown was pretty cool a few months ago.

Too bad so many people will actually pay for stuff like this. It's like paying paying $40 for a fried croissant doughnut (cronut)
    America wake up

I took the offensive word out. I'm sorry I used it. I was just angry at the cost of these fish, which were captive bred. I get the fact that they have unique patterning but it's not like divers risked their own lives to bring these fish to market.
There is so much frivolous waste in this country it makes me sad.

im assuming whoever will buy the clowns will be a breeder. ORA perhaps? who knows, i doubt someone will shell out 6 grand to put it in a reef tank though.

Whoever buys them surely is well aware of what they're buying, and I doubt ignorant about the history. And at many thousands, it's also someone who has a sizable income, in which case the cost is relative (to them). Sort of like the clientele which buy supercars.

I'm willing to bet if ORA wants some, they have the right channels to work through BZ which doesn't include a public auction.

Also note, the current winning bidder of both fish with the interesting pattern is the same person.

Really? These clowns all originated from one of the most amazing and rare clownfish EVER!
Plus large breeders are probably the ones bidding, like ORA and SA.
