    That should be enough light on a standard 10g tank. I'd be more concerned about keeping parameters and water quality stable enough with such a small volume of water, as well as having adequate space- BTAs can get fairly large.

    Hard to say as the reflector is made of Mylar and lets light through. I do think that Mr. Bill is right that it should work on a 10 gallon tank as well as the rest of his post.

    I don't have much in the tank I also have a protein skimmer hooked up
