I got a 48" solaris paid 2586.00 ( my girlfriend repeats the price everytime i say something about it because she bought it for me) with shipping. Not very realistic I know.

    2x 250 MH + 2 x 54w of t5ho.

Lets see, the 2 m58 ballasts for the halides were free from work, the 2 xm 10k bulbs were ~$130 total, then I spent 20 bucks or so on cables and supplies to wire them. the not so great reflectors and sockets were free as well from a friend that upgraded.

The 2 ATI B+ bulbs were like 25 each, and the reflectors were 23 each, the wh5 ballast was used from my 35g, but that was like $117 for the 3x39 it was originally.

So, around 300 or so, but it is hard to count since I had so many freebies or already paid for items..
