    hi all, just a quick question for u all, how much did u spend on lighting for your reef aquarium?

    If I remember, it was about $380 or so US Dollars. To save money, I'm using the default bulbs for the first nine months.

    they are nice ive been pricing up some lights, and been quoted £528 for bulbs ballasts and reflectors dont no if its a good price sounds a bit expensive but i dont no much about lighting at this moment could any1 help

    my tank is 60"x24"x24" around 125gals, it will be a reef, but very confused on lighting at this mo lol

    I got a 48" T-5 Tek fixture + blubs (2x blue, 2x white) on suggestion of Pharmrjohn, I love it. It cost $360, somewhere around there. I'm probably going to ride it out for as long as I can. When I get my big tank together I'll probably move to MH Pendulums.
