I've got a FOWLR tank. So what hours should I run my lights?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    What are the lights,

When do are you home to view the tank, or when do you want to view the tank.

    Typically 8-10 hours per day.

For FOWLR only when you wish to observe your fish.

So when it was freshwater I usually turned the lights on from 5 or 6pm to 11 or 12pm. So if I put the lights on a time for 6 to 12 they should be pretty good huh? Or should I do more hours for the fish. The foxface seems to be more comfortable with the lights on for some reason. But want to limit algae growth.

That sounds like a good plan.

If the room gets reasonably bright during the day, your fish will adapt. Some only turn on the lights for feeding time and when observing or performing maintenance. If you prefer 5 - 6 hours to suit your schedule, that would be fine.
