    You ideally want your temp around 80 degrees and your SG at 1.026. This equates to 36ppt Salinity which is the salinity of the majority of reefs around the globe.

    Hi Craig My temp is @ 80 Degrees but SG is 1.024 Should I add some more salt with the water when I top the tank off next time? ;)

    I love the stand... now make the hood to match and put in some MH lights.

    Yup! If you have a refractometer that would be the best way to measure you SG at 1.026.

    No I just have a swing arm tester so what do you think of my tank I put some pictures a couple of postes back? So you say 1.026 then?

    Tank looks good, will be even better when you get the rest of your LR.  

    Yes, go with 1.026 on the swing arm and then save your pennies for a good refractometer.  They are available for about $60.  Look at the refractometer thread.

    Yah It needs a lot more rock Ok craig I'll bump it up to 1.026 on the swing arm and I will check into a refractometer is there any brand that you think is a good one?

    Hi Nautilus Thank You ;D I want to make the hood to match the stand but I don't know how tall I need to make it for MH lights when I update the lighting I think first I need to get more LR LOL :D
