    I dont get this quote, there isnt the same par all the way across.

    This tank i found on another forum, all lit by t5's. I argued mh vs t5 once myself, its possible to do what ever u want with t5's this picture proves it. Sure its a quality fixture but u get what u pay for.

    btw, thats an sps dominated tank. Better color than ive ever seen any mh put out. T5's have even been known to bleach out sps cause of the lite they put out.

    he just means that since t5's are bulbs spread out across the entire tank, the same amount of light will be at the same height through out the tank.
    where as the halide bulb is much smaller and is made to put light directly below it so you get the most light intensity centered below the bulb.

    Sorry my typing is a little confusing sometimes, what I think in my head just doesn't seem to come out right. If you had an empty tank the PAR would be almost the same across the entire width of the of the tank
