I just purchased a LED light for my marine biOrb and was wondering is it best too leave it on (as moonlight setting) overnight. or should I completely turn the light off while sleeping ?

if it has 465nm blue LED's then it is great to leave on at night...
otherwise, do not leave them on at night

I run my moonlights from 10pm-5am every night once my main fixture turns off.

465nm and the surrounding wavelengths are what is reflected from the moon... this is the light that corals which still carry out photosynthesis at night through phosphorescence can harness. If you have any corals that glow vibrant green under the blue lights then you are at an okay wavelength for nightime...
