How long does it normally take for corals softies esp particularly leathers to acclimate to new lighting t5 to halides,

Its been 3 days so far since i changed from 200watt of t5 to 300watt halides and the leather seems to be struggleing, where as my xenia is touching the top of the water and seems to not even have noticed, i've been haveing them on for 6 hours a day so far.

I have a sunpod 2 150 watt bulbs over my 46 gallon. Give a little more time. How many inches between the coral and the lighting?
