Just added on to my aquaticlife fixture to turn it from a 2 bulb to a 4 bulb fixture. Was running the dual bulb for the past year and figured getting by with the bare minimum lighting probably wasnt best for all the corals I have in there.

I have both lights on the same timer right now but decreased the time from 11.5 to 10.5 hours. Im thinking that I still need more in terms of acclimating to the increased light and was thinking of using the screen method where I place a couple layers of screen and remove them slowly.

How do I do this and what screen do I use? Just regular black window screen from lowes or home depot and what size? How many layers should I use and how often should I remove a layer?
