Has anyone tried or considered running a few of these over a larger tank with ceramic lighting fixtures mounted underneath a canopy?

Maybe have a fixture every 12 inches (so 3 in a 48" tank). Might be an interesting project. How would they stack up against the larger LED fixtures?

i have had this bulb, at first i was beyond pleased, i was ecstatic! i had finally found a great par38 bulb for a fantastic price. but then after a couple months the blue led's just stopped working. i tried tinkering with the wiring and changing the lamp fixture but nothing worked, i returned it and they sent me a brand new one. two months later, same thing happened. i just dont think they are built to last and they are not quality bulbs. you can see mine in this pic.

i had to buy a panorama NM module to create the desired lighting effect.
