Is there a std rule of watts per gallon for led's? I have a 120 show tank and was wondering how much wattage I should look for. Thanks

Not sure about watts per gallon. However, I would say three of them would cover no matter the brand. Tao tronics, AI's, Radions, etc etc.

That seems like over kill. My tank is only 48" long with a brace in the middle. Thanks

I am looking to keep mostly softies not really looking to keep any super high light coral. I am looking at led fixtures that are 75watts each

No I don't think you will get slammed. There are alot of fans here of Chinese products.;)
I ran 1 Taotronic led (120 watt) on my 90 with lps and softies for about a year with no problems.Look at the Reef Breeder value fixture.1 will be just fine with proper coral placement.Heres a link.

My only concern is the brace that I have in the middle of my tank. Won't it create a shadow if I only have one fixture centered over the tank? I was looking at the super lux from reef breeders it seems to have some space between the lamps maybe that will help with the shadow?
