So I need new bulbs for my RSM 130d, and I plan to just get the standard ones next weekend, but I was wondering if I could add some LED strips to the hood. Could I do this? I was thinking I could somehow attach them to the hood on the side of the regular lighting area (with glue, putty...?), and then they will work with my regular bulbs. Could I do this?
    Thanks

    Awesome!
Are there any reef safe products that you could recommend to keep the light strip on?
    Thanks, 2in10

Good question, I think you should be able to screw they in place with wood screws. Double sided tape might work also.

I wouldnt trust 2 sided tape personally. I would say stick with screws and or perment glue just to be on the safe side.

I used gorilla glue to hold my lunar led strip on, put some weight on it until it dries. They aren't going anywhere! lol

What about using velcro to hold the lights? It sticks well, and has adhesive side(s). This won't void the warranty on your tank either(if it is not already pat that?)

Let me get a picture of what I have...it's like industrial strength(not velcro brand). I got it from hobby lobby to hold my controller in place.
