    Hi Ishy

    not looking so good that leather , it does seem to be decaying
    if it where my coral, I would frag one or 2 of the healthier looking parts as far away from the decay as possible

    a good quality craft knife or carpet scissors - you want to make one clean cut
    remove coral from tank and have a bucket of tank water on had to rinse coral frag once cut
    cut portions can be secured to peices of rock using either
    bridal veil
    rubber bands - dont over tighten

    place in area of low flow for about 10 days to 2 weeks and the coral should have secured itself

    Then move coral to a position with moderate to high flow
