Probably gonna be no debating going on. Korans are Angelfish; you're always going to have at least a chance of problems, but the Koran is known to eat corals regularly, unlike some other Angels.

I'm a regular at a Vietnamese food restaurant close to my house and the owner has a beautiful 75g bowfront that's sps dominant along with some pretty zoanthid colonies. He put a Koran angel in a couple months ago, and last week when I visited, I checked out the tank as usual and noticed all the zoas were gone. I inquired and the owner said the Koran was picking at them nonstop. So he took all the zoas out and gave them to an employee. Nice bonus! Anyway, that's all I know about korans. No personal experience.

yeah i ask because i know of some people who have koran angels in a reef and have no problems. yet anyway...
so i was wondering if there is anyone else who has had success that might want to share their experience.

I think SPS are the only corals they're not known to go after frequently.

ugh... i really dont want to give him away lol..
i want a reef more than i want a koran angel but i hate the thought of giving him away.. especially since he is in the process of changing colors

Ive seen them in massive display tanks out here
and they will peck at anything , including things that you might think would hurt them to do so

Ive seen one with a badly scared and discolored face, continuing to peck at an elegance it wanted to eat, despite fact it must have been what caused the injury to the Korans face
