If you were going to set up a freshwater tank planted or not what type of fish would be your star attraction? Even if it were a community tank, what would the majority population of fish be?

i would get a bunch of tetras for schooling fish. They look pretty cool IMO.

or if you have a big tank, then i would get a Discus fish.;D

i voted cichlid but if i set up a freshwater tank, i would go planted. so i guess my answer would be whatever fish is plant safe.

I would go with a big school of cardinal tetras and a few african rope fish. The ropes are a cool looking creature.

I would set it up with a schooling fish whether Tetras, Danios or whatever. Most likely would be some attempt at a biotope. It would be planted.
