Just got my new jebao RW-4 wave maker. 500-1000gph First off it does not pivot in every direction like the wp version. This is both a positive and a negative. Positive because the build of the holder arm is much stronger, and you do not have to worry about the power head popping off and making a mess of your tank. Negative because well, less adjustment. Ok! So the RW feels like a much nicer pump, and for only $20 it is a great upgrade! The current is crazy! I ran my wp10 on highest wave 1 setting. The RW is on LOWEST wave 1 and it is stirring up a ton of stuff the wp left sitting on the substrate. The controller for the RW is also wireless so when I get a second pump I will run the master/slave wave setup. Also the pump has more then 3 speed adjustments! It has 8 levels, each level illuminates a green led on the controller. So overall, much better flow, better build quality, more adjust-ability, seems like a great pump so far! Highly recommend this pump over the WP series!
