Does your Jack tolerate your Pleco. I have a Red Devil and was going to try it but I fear for its life. He is a mean SOB

The Jack and the Pleco get along fairly well. They started out in the same little 20 gal tank together. Ares (the Jack) is a little aggressive but the Pleco pretty much ignores him. I have not kept a Red Devil but I think they are about the same temperment as a Jack.

I did have a Jewelfish once. That was the only fish I have ever had that would not tolerate anything else in the tank with him. When it was very small I put him in a tank with an Oscar that was about 2 inches bigger as I was cleaning out another tank for the Oscar. It killed the Oscar within 20 minutes!!
