    Ouch, clams probably aren't to sensitive to stings, but sure don't want those spreading.

    I hate that stuff. I boil it off which isnt the best thing to do. but it works. Dont think the clam would like that

    Update* They did not grow back the clam is still alive and happy! (PS I got a gold and purple hammer to replace the one i lost)

    ill take pictures, The mantle developed bright orange/pink splotches and it almost looks like grafting.

    I got a clam that had blues cloves on one side. I take a small wire brush to it when it builds up.
