It just got real with this clam.

Aptasia.... CHECK. Broke out the blade scrapper and toothbrush lets see hoe it turns out.

 

Ouch, clams probably aren't to sensitive to stings, but sure don't want those spreading.

I hate that stuff. I boil it off which isnt the best thing to do. but it works. Dont think the clam would like that

 

Update* They did not grow back the clam is still alive and happy! (PS I got a gold and purple hammer to replace the one i lost)

ill take pictures, The mantle developed bright orange/pink splotches and it almost looks like grafting.

 

I got a clam that had blues cloves on one side. I take a small wire brush to it when it builds up.

 

why do you scrape them off?
