is treatment working? sick of not knowing..

    so i have a 125 2 of my 3 tangs got ich got all my fish in to a 55g for treatment last night i started treatment with cuparmine. i have been testing and testing how the LFS told me to. but idk if its working. i wish the test would say yes its working keep it up! but no nothing is that easy.. im useing API tests and there a bit hard to read. short budget right now cant get different test. idk what to do. i also have rid ich but idk i heard it didnt work..

    what are you testing for? Unfortunatly there is no test to see if the ick medicine is working or not....the treatment and such can cause you to go into a cycle I have found....

    Add some extra powerheads to the tank that you ahve your fish in...from my experience when I treated the meds lowered the available oxygen in the tank. What is your salinity at....what type of tangs are they? How are your water parameters?

    yeah testing for the proper copper dosage

    para. are good i got a yellow a kole and a blue. salinity is 1.024-1.025

    ich does worse in lower salinty and fish do better
    drop you salinity down to 1.019

    you can hydro and treat with copper at the same time man.

    i thought if you have too low of salinty and treat with copper you will kill your fish?

    its not a hyposalinity level thats the very lowest overall normal level that salt can be at. but if your worried don't do it but i don't think i would have my water at the top of the scale. 1.019-1.026
