    as long as it is porous it will be fine. i also started with 75/25 mix of base and live rock. Its all live now.

    cool...mine is finally changing....hey do any of u guys know or have any ideas about loewring my nitrates iv been doing water change after water change...and nothing....all other params r good i use r?o water no tap?

    your probably still cycling as a result of adding the uncured rock into your tank. give it a few days, then do a water change and see what happens.
