I have these two little things growing on one of my peices of live rock and I don't have a clue what it is. I didn't notice them a few days ago so either they are growing quickly or I just haven't noticed in a while. So who has a clue?

They're about as big as a pencil eraser but maybe a hair smaller.

Cool. That's kinda neat that I've done nothing and corals randomly grow in my tank. I'll assume that's a sign that my tank is relatively healthy then. Makes me feel good that I'm doing something right. I just wonder where they came from.

They are a common hitch hiker on live rock and usually dull green or brown, but keep caution, remember in Shackmels thread, some of the more bland, uglier ones are some of the ones with the highest amounts of palytoxins.Still a nice find none the less, free coral is never ugly ;)

Palys for sure. But thinking they may not like your lighting being curled with the lights on. Palys love bright lights but only if they were alcumated to them. Other then that they are some tough SOBS and can endure the most neglectful noob. Try shading them a bit for a month or two. They open wide
