It just gave me goose bumps! The zoas look annoyed too. Get rid of it right now, carefully. Aiptasia has got to go ASAP!

I don't think u can just pull it though. There's tons of ways to kill them, I haven't ever had them so I will let someone else speak on different methods.

Get a couple of good sized peppermint shrimp. They love to eat those. I have one in my tank and haven't seen once since.
just don't try to pull it out, if you don't get all of it, it will spread like crazy

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    This is what I do.

Pull the piece, wait for the zoanthids or palys to totally retract. Put a small dap of Kalk paste or joes juice. Do this all out of the water, the coral will be fine just try not to get any kalk on the polyps. Let the coral sit out of water for up to 5-10 minutes. Then rinse in saltwater and place back in tank.

I have done this to my zoanthids and palys, they may be very mad for a day or two but much happier in the long term once you get rid of the pest.

Agreed with Corallines method. Do it out of the water and use kalk paste. You can get some Ms. Wages pickling lime at the grocery store to make the paste.
