    Ouch, my neck!

    But seriously.. the purple (not the darkest purple) is corailline algae. The darker stuff doesn't look like it. I'm not sure of what it is, but someone here will. Does it feel fuzzy? Is it grown in clumps?

    The dark does look like cyno,if it rubs off easily that's what it is.

    if it is .. what would you guys recommend the best way to get rid of this..
    I got a 29 g biocube hqi ,lights on for about 7 hours.
    moonlights on for 5 hours, Mp10
    reefkeeper lite. fuge with chato in it .. protein skimmer that comes with this biocube..

    always weekly water changes about 20 % R/O water mixed perfect.

    nitrates are a 10 ppm. everything tests great.. I think this cyano , if that is what it is came from my LFS its been on there since ive had the tank about 2 months now.
