30" 2x24watt HO T5 Nova Extreme. Is this a good light fixture. I want to have soft corals. I really don't know which corals i want but as long as they look great and are fairly easy to maintain. Would this be a good light for some corals?

I ran the 8 bulb 54w version over my 120g. Grew SPS corals near the top and mid level. Good light and easy to clean and maintain.

    ahhh, you have a 30"...

Coralife makes a few fixtures with 30" bulbs that would fit over your tank perfectly.

HOWEVER, they are the only company that makes 30" replacement bulbs - and only in 10K and 420 spectrums so your SOL if you want some high end ATI replacements...

why not just get led? never have to replace the bulbs! and can grow all corals and give you that shimmer!
