Not trying to state the obvious, or poke at you...... But I would definitely try to bring the nitrates down..... I have always read that nems like cleaner water..... Nitrates 10ppm or less..... Maybe try running carbon, this will aid in your overall water clarity and quality. It will aid in ridding ammonia out of your tank. And in the event the nem would die, it will also help take the toxins out the water column. Good luck, and I know it will pull through....

Lol, no, i don't consider it poking. We know our nitrates are high. We have tried everything and they just commonly stay the same. We have carbon in the sump, I'm going to add another bag tonight. The nem'S foot is still pretty firmly attached to the rock? Here is what he looks like now.

It's good the foot is attached! I would add the other bag, but be patient. I lost a new a few months ago from being impatient. Wait it out...... I believe it will pull through, it still has good color. Is the mouth getting tighter?

It will shake back..... Try not to intervene if possible. And try to keep things as stable as possible right now. But it will pull through. They are tougher than we give them credit for.

We did a pretty big water change, I will recheck in the morning. I bet that's it.

Cody, we do not have macroalgae.
