Is it algae?

    Geetings...over the last couple of days we have had an outbreak of what I assume to be algae. It's on the glass and presents as small yellow/brown dots (think water spots). Hard to scape off the plexi (plexi limits my ability to go after it more aggresively). My snails don't seem to be making a dent in it.

    Probably coraline algae. I have some on my glass.

    any pics and is it hard or soft???if its hard to scrape off i agree prob coraline...a good thing!!!but i would do a web search for coraline pics and see if u find anything that looks like urs...

    Algae?

    I will try to post a pic later. The stuf seems hard. Can't scape it off easily with a plastic scraper
