I was treating my tank with interceptor for red bugs, the treatment is supposed to last for 5 hours and then you run carbon and turn your filtration back on, well i had to stay at work longer than normal and ended up running the interceptor for 10 hours. I'm wondering if anybody else has done this and if there's anything i should be expecting.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I did not do a water change or run carbon for the 1st 24 hours.

You probably already know there is a chance you will loose your shrimp and crabs.

Pods take a huge hit and film algae is also dramatically reduced for a month or two, water clarity is really improved.

You'll be fine. There's lots of guidelines out there, and they all vary a bit. 10 hours is nothing to worry about.

Right on, I checked last night when i put the carbon in and all my hermits were still doing fine, and i don't have any shrimp so no worries there.
