I'm seriously considering swapping my DE 250W Phoenix 14k's for the XM 20k's. The fixture is currently running 4 80W T5's which consist of the following combination: 2 x ATI Purple Plus & 2 x ATI Blue Plus. Considering the supplimental T5's, I feel the 20k's would be a better combination. Any experience or input into these is appreciated.

I ordered 3 XM 20k's to try in place of the Phoenix 14k's. We'll see once they arrive, whether or not they'll be what I'm looking for.

Just remember they take awhile to burn in! They are going to be very blue for awhile.

XM's are great bulbs, I am running 10K on my tank, my coral grows like weeds! I bit more yellow than the 20K but I don't really care that much about that, I just want the coral to grow big and strong!
