Idea for a new type of light/lighting

    I thought of doing the same thing with LED's and thought that one of the controllers could be programmed to do this.

    Well the way i have my lights set up now is my moonlight led's come on about 10-15 min before my main light turns off and they turn off about 2 hours later. then they turn back on about an hour before the light comes on and off 10-15 after

    Doing the same thing with my DIY LED system, there are a few controllers the look like they would do the trick; only problem is that I will have to fork out ~500.00 for the controllers... Seriously thinking about building my own controllers, but that will take a lot of research ATM...

    well i did some research and since ive been debating on buying a reefkeeper lite i was looking around the Digital Aquatics website and saw that they have a module for ACL(advanced lighting control) which does pretty much what i want. so this is the route im going to take

    WOW ---

    That must be a new option, last time I checked you needed the Elite version to have the ALC option, looks like you can do an awesome setup for ~200.00 now... much more affordable than what I had thought; thanks for the heads up!

    actually you might be right, i need to check that out. i didnt see anything that said it was only for the elite. ill call them when they open
