    I see what looks to be yellow polyps, and something coming off pointing down about 30 degrees towards the lower left, but that could be an artifact from the camera.

    Those look kinda of like hydroids to me, but hard to tell from the picture.

    Bloodkip google yellow star polyps and google hydroids. Look at a couple of images of both. If hydroids take some underwater epoxy intomb them and they will die and that is what you want if they are hydroids.
