Unresolved Id this... Sponge? Maybe?

As the title says i figure it was a sponge but it also looks like it has hairs... Or something similar on it. the dark pic with the flash is a full rock shot you can hardly tell it is there and there is one zoomed in on it with the lights on. I haven't seen anything like it. Almost looks like a cross between a sponge and a hydroid? Heh... I have no idea...

If it is a sponge just say sponge. I don't need a specific id lol.
