    its there to stop the microbubbles from pouring into my tank from my skimmer, i clean it every 2 to 3 days

    The skimmer should stop putting microbubbles in the tank after it is broken it. You might have a few bubbles but nothing serious. You might need to adjust your skimmers flow.

    skimmer is long after its brake in period, i've had countless issues with this thing working right, i have a few threads out on here about my frustration with with it :D
