    Not sure what thIs is.

    What i can't ID is the clear stringy crud. I assume some type of bacteria? Do i need to try to kill it? If so, how?

    So the worm in the picture produces that slime?

    Yes, a web so to speak. Populations grow out of control based on available food source. Yes, it will irritate some corals.

    Is there anything i can do for it? I will scrape those little buggers off my rock if necessary.

    Any best method of doing this? Also should i remove all of them or just the ones nearest my corals? I mostly just don't want their snot irritating the coral.

    I break them off right in the tank. Usually just do it with my finger or something.. Some people say best not to have hands in tank "I am sure it is best not to" but I am all hands.
